DESCRIPTION

The Rollomatic ShapeSmart NP5 is a high-precision 5-axis CNC cylindrical Pinch/Peel grinding machinespecifically designed for cutting tool blank preparation, precision punches, micro drills, mold and core pins, form tools and other precision components requiring complex geometries and high length-to-diameter ratios.

The patented Pinch/Peel grinding process combines high material removal capability with exceptional concentricity, dimensional control and surface finish. With its CNC-controlled workhead and fifth axis, the NP5 is also capable of grinding flats, hexes and non-concentric cam profiles, considerably expanding its range of applications.
